I'm sick to my stomach.

I feel used. Feel like I wasn't good enough, fast enough, pretty enough. Like a flower
Color?
White.
Type?
Daisy.
I'm closest to the sidewalk, first one in site. At first I'm beautiful, with my delicate white petals and bright fuzzy center. You bend down to pick me up. As you do this a flock of clouds moves in a covers the sun; blocking the sunlight. The closer you get the more you begin to realize my stem. Its bent. I sway to the left intertwined in the sharp dead weeds that are taking over the this side sidewalk. You think its not worth it and slowly lose interest. You turn to your right and just as you do so , a hole in the clouds allows a ray of light to shine through. Suddenly you see a feathery round dandelion. Its been there the whole time just waiting. So pretty, so simple, surrounded by lush green grass newly refreshed by the morning dew..not weeds.  You snap the dandelion from the ground and begin to skip forward, thinking so hard what you're going to wish for before you blow the precious little seeds off the flower. However, before you get a chance a spirit moves the sky and the sun is blocked once again. This time even darker than before. A gust of wind steals the dandelion from your hands and throws it  to the ground, releasing its many feathery seeds into the air. The once so pretty flower lies there on the cold dark sidewalk. You step over it like nothing ever happened.
10 feet behind you, I, the daisy still stand...strong...watching you, waiting...but you never return. I only hope you feel the guilt you should.
